Congestive Heart Failure ECHO Program launches Wednesday, April 10th at 12:00 – 1:00 PM / CST
This ECHO Program, made possible through the $4.5M grant provided to OSU-CHS Project ECHO by TSET (Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust), aims to address the increasing prevalence of heart failure (HF) in the United States. Currently, approximately 6.7 million Americans over 20 years of age have HF, with projections indicating a rise to 8.5 million by 2030. The lifetime risk of HF has increased to 24%, meaning approximately 1 in 4 persons will develop HF in their lifetime. This ECHO program is designed to enhance provider knowledge, skills, and self-efficacy in diagnosing and treating congestive heart failure. The Congestive Heart Failure ECHO Program launches on April 10, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. CST. and will return every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month.
Diabetes Management in Primary Care ECHO launches Wednesday, December 13th at 12:00-1:00 PM/CST
This ECHO was made possible through the $4.5M grant provided to OSU-CHS Project ECHO by TSET (Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust). While the state of Oklahoma faces many health challenges, one of the most glaring is diabetes. Every year an estimated 23,717 people in Oklahoma are diagnosed with diabetes. The goal of this program is to increase primary care provider knowledge, skills, and self-efficacy in the evaluation and management of diabetes.
